8 Days Kenya Private Budget Camping Safari

Day 0: Arrival in Kenya in Nairobi

We will pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International (Nairobi) Airport, our guide will welcome you warmly hearted and drive you to the hotel booked for your overnight as you prepare for your 8 Days Kenya Private Budget Camping Safari the next morning.

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Park

You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel by our driver. Immediately depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. Arrive with a short game drive en route to the lodge/camp for lunch. After lunch, relax before a game drive at 4p.m. Samburu Park has unique residents including the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive Samburu National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of unique northern Kenya species such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Much of the reserve consists of desert landscape; dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of table top Mt Ol Olokwe on the horizon. All meals are taken at the lodge/camp.

Day 3: Samburu National Park to Sweetwaters Wildlife

Depart Samburu after breakfast arriving in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a beautiful private game reserve and home to rare species such as Beisa oryx, Rothschild’s giraffe and black rhino. Game drives here reveal the full range of African wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and hippo. Enjoy a private visit with the tame animals at the wildlife orphanage. Observe chimps at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary as well

Day 4: Sweetwaters Wildlife to Lake Nakuru

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru arriving before lunch time. Later afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara

After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. You will have a game drive as you head to the camp for lunch. Another game drive will be at 4p.m. Look out for Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo.

Day 6 & 7: Full day game drive Maasai Mara

You will have 2 full days spending with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, there will be picnic lunch along the banks of Mara River.

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Transfer to Nairobi

After breakfast at the lodge depart for Nairobi to arrive by lunch time. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. Afterwards drop off at airport for flight back home or hotel of your choice.

Day 9: Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International (Nairobi) Airport,

Our driver will bring you to Nairobi Airport, from where you will get your flight back home or Fly to another destination making the end of our 8 Days Kenya Private Budget Camping Safari.
