The best time for safaris in Tanzania is determined by your travel preferences.

The “dry” season, which runs from June to October, is ideal for witnessing the Great Migration. Furthermore, this season is ideal for safaris because animal density is at its peak around rivers and other sources of water. The number of mosquitoes is far lower than usual when the weather is warmer. The number of tourist vehicles in the parks is reasonable, though Ngorongoro and Seronera plains in Serengeti are usually the hotspots. From November to May, the “wet” season (or “rainy” season) is ideal for those who want to watch hunting scenes. From January to February, calves are born, and predators are especially active. A 90-day single-entry tourist visa to Tanzania is given for USD 50 to nationals of the majority of countries upon arrival in Tanzania at the airport.

If you want a recommended visa, you must apply at least 45 days before your visit to the Embassy.
